This was a fun afternoon challenge. Could I turn some classic retro TV cars in to spaceships? I gave it a shot. I think the most challenging part was trying not to lose some of those iconic shapes and design elements that made them special. I’m a fan of big clunky asymmetrical ship design, I’m sure some of that found it’s way in to my designs. I picked Hurbie the Love Bug, the Mystery Machine and KITT from Knight Rider.
